COURSE OVERVIEW

Our Classic Training provides students with an introduction to the fundamentals of lashing while determining which methods and techniques are best suited for them. The course is designed as a level 1 entry for aspiring lash artists who would like to learn how to apply lashes safely and efficiently. Our beginner course teaches students how to perform a client assessment and intake, as well as determine whether the client is a good candidate for lashes. Throughout the modules, students are provided with up-to-date information on different lash materials, styles, products, applications, removals, and troubleshooting. The course also focuses on marketing and branding strategies to set you apart from your competition.

The theory portion of the course is directed through our online program which also includes interactive worksheets, activities, and exam reviews. Learning how to apply classic lashes is the first step to becoming a talented lash artist; and also ensuring you learn the right way - from the beginning - will help you become successful.

HofG’s Classic Training is one of a kind! We work with students from all over the world. Some students hold certificates from different training facilities but take our courses to obtain higher education and maximize revenue. Most students want to learn, they want the opportunity to apply themselves, and they require the tools necessary for success. To rise to the top, to truly make your educational investment worthwhile it takes time - and guidance. One of the most critical downfalls of traditional lash courses is the failure to provide those two necessary elements. Students learn a variety of ways, and one style of teaching does not fit all. Our HofG Educators are trained to adapt to a variety of learning styles and work on an individual basis.

This course will begin with the online component. Once the online activities, worksheets, and interactive lectures are complete, you can then sign up for virtual coaching or in-studio practical.

Students will be expected to successfully complete all prep work prior to attending the in-studio or virtual practical. The practical can be booked by contacting Kirsten info@houseofglam.ca. Students must receive a minimum of 80% in the written and practical exams. Those students who do not meet the requirements will be given a detailed plan for at home practice before attending another practical. When the student completes the second prep and feels confident they can re-book the second practical.

COURSE OPTIONS

OPTIONS 1: Online Theory + In-studio Practical + Classic Starter Kit

Cost: $1400+tax
Work at your own pace, complete the prep work, submit the prep work, write your theory exam. When the student successfully completes the written exam they can book the practical by contacting Kirsten @ info@houseofglam.ca.

The student will spend the full day in-studio working with live models. If the student does not pass the practical exam we recommend booking back in for the next in-studio training session at no extra cost.

If the student does not pass the second practical the student has the option to take on an apprenticeship at HofG studios. The apprenticeship program is recommended for anyone who needs more hands on experience, more clarification, or may take a longer time to learn. We also recommend the apprenticeship program for students with learning disabilities. We are more than accommodating and truly wish to help you shine!

Training head, with strip lashes, will be given to the student for practice and must return to the studio before coming to class. All prep work including worksheets and activities need to be submitted 48 hours before the practical. It is up to the student to put the time and effort into the prep work. If you are not prepared for class then you should not schedule the practical. We work with students who want to learn and do well. The more effort you put into your prep work the easier the practical will be for you!

OPTIONS 2: Online Theory + Virtual Coaching + Classic Starter Kit

Cost: $1075+tax

Work at your own pace, complete the prep work, submit the prep work, write your theory exam online. When the student successfully completes the written exam they can book the virtual practical by contacting Kisten @ info@houseofglam.ca.

Those students who do not meet the requirements will have the option to write the exam for a second time with no extra charge. If the student does not pass the second exam further training is available. Our trainers charge $85/hr for extra coaching session.The coaching sessions can be completed virtually, over the phone, zoom or facetime.
