Why is HydroPRIME necessary to use before applying eyelash extensions?
HydroPRIME removes dirt, oil, bacteria, protein, and residual products that can only be seen up close. HydroPRIME works by giving a lash artist a fresh, clean and optimum surface for the adhesive to bond to the lash.
How do basic lash primers work?
Primers can range from beneficial to harmful based on the ingredients and concentrations of the formula (product). Not every primer is formulated or manufactured the same way and those processes are highly important in product outcome.
Some primers contain a higher concentration of alcohol which may dry out the natural lashes making them brittle, dehydrated and prone too breakage.
Basic primers are formulated to provide benefit for the cuticle (outside of the lash) and not the entire eyelash.
How is hydroPRIME different?
Not only does hydroPRIME get the surface area perfect for lashing, it penetrates through the surface to the cortex (middle part) to add moisture and keratin to the lash.
Why is that important?
Eyelashes are porous, kinda like a sponge, when you pre-treat natural lashes with HydroPRIME you’re setting up an ideal route for adhesive to penetrate through the lash. This means the adhesive will have a stronger bond with HydroPRIME compared to basic primers.
